About Us

The objective of The Harvest is to show off the small and mid scale food producers in the UK by using television techniques and go behind the scenes to show exactly how food is produced and the passion as expressed by those that dedicate their lives making or growing produce for the public.

Richard Vobes is the web TV producer and owner of the site and in his time he has been an entertainer, actor, presenter, film maker, TV producer and internet radio host.

He started off in Children's TV in 1996 with a show called Snug and Cozi, and has appeared on a variety of TV shows since then.

As well as shooting video, he has been running an internet radio show and podcast, for which he won an award, and which took him to America three times, one trip being the Best Man for one of his USA listeners!

Video is being used on the Internet more and more and now is the time to really start using this fabulous communications medium to show your customers who you are and what you can do. It used to be the domain of the large corporations, but now in the hands of an imaginative and experienced producer, it can be the tool of the small artisan food and drink producer!
