Bookham Fine Foods are a Sussex based, family run company we pride ourselves on sourcing as many ingredients as possible locally and according to season. Selling direct to the public at Farmers' Markets has enabled us to gain a real feel for what people want and allowed us to tap into a rich and diverse pool of primary producers, many of whom have worked alongside us to create an authentic but adventurous product range, aimed at time-poor consumers looking for "convenience foods with a clear conscience."

We are best known for our award winning Twineham Grange Cheese, nicknamed Farmers' Hand after Brussels denied us the right to call it English Vegetarian Parmesan. Our South Downs Butter is traditionally churned using quality cream which is aged for three days, it is then pasteurised, churned, washed three times with ice cold water and hand packed into 200g rolls . We also making a new cheese called Sussex Charmer, this is a joint venture between ourselves and R.Harrison & Sons from Rudgwick. This cheese is a cross between a Cheddar and Parmesan and has been awarded 'Best New Dairy Product 2008' at the Nantwich International Cheese Awards.
