TULLEYS FARM - Pick Your Own
The farming business at Worth Hall Farm and Tulleys Farm was established by Bernard Beare in 1937. Bernard developed a successful dairy herd and a market garden business producing salad and vegetable crops for the London Markets. Denis & Marion Beare the next generation took over running the farms in 1970 and opened Tulleys Farm to the public for Pick Your Own in 1971. Their son Stuart joined the growing family business in 1991, the farm shop was added in 1992 and the tearooms in 1996.
Production Heritage
Tulleys Farm's heritage is in fruit and vegetable production, originally for the London Markets and more recently through Pick Your Own for direct farm sales.Strawberries are synonymous with Tulleys and we've been growing Britain's favourite berry now for 37 years, along with raspberries they form the back bone of the summer fruit season. The beautiful farm shop was converted in 1992 from a disused milking parlour and quickly established itself as a high quality provider of local and regional foods.
